Does it work for my trade?
If you quote for jobs or go back to the same customers, yes. Knockround covers 39 trades. Plumbers, electricians, roofers and builders get a jobs board that runs from enquiry to paid; cleaners, gardeners and window cleaners get customers who come back on the day they're due; plenty use both. Does it do quotes and invoices?
Yes. Quotes your customers accept with a tap, and numbered invoices with a Pay button: send them by WhatsApp, text or email, or show a QR code they scan. VAT invoicing and Direct Debit are still to come.
How do my customers pay?
By Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard or American Express, from the invoice link or the QR code, on Stripe's secure page. Bank transfer and cash still work: your bank details and a payment reference are on every invoice, and you tick those off in Money.
What does taking card cost?
Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p for a standard UK card, straight from each payment. Knockround adds nothing on top. Payments go to your own Stripe account and on to your bank.
Do I need a card reader?
No. Your customer pays on their own phone: you send the invoice link, or they scan the QR code on yours.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Knockround runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app, with no App Store or Play Store needed.
Can you move my customers across?
Yes. Import them yourself from Excel or CSV, up to 2,000 rows at a time, or email us the export from your current app and we'll help move it free, including what customers owe. You check the result before you switch.
What happens when I have no signal?
Open the day while you have signal and it stays on your phone. Done, Not in and move-to-tomorrow are kept until you're connected again, then sent. Signing in, photos and downloads need a connection, and some older phones can't keep the work offline.
Where is my data kept?
In Cloudflare's database in the European Union. Your customer records stay yours: download them as CSV files any time. We don't sell your data or share it with marketers. The app's privacy notice lists everyone who helps us run it.
Is there a contract?
No. It's £19.99 a month or £199 a year, and you can stop whenever you like.
Do you have referrals?
Yes. Your link is in the app, under More, Refer a friend. Each person who joins with it and goes on to a paid plan takes 20% off your plan for as long as they keep paying, and five make Knockround free. It counts once their free week is over.
